Slack alerts for track events are a great way to be on top of what's happening in your app.
You can now set up multiple alerts for a single event! This will allow you to use different audience filters and assign notifications to different people in your team 👥
Common use cases
Focus on different goals for different teams
Example:
Weekly summary of the number of signups in the #company-update channel
Instant alerts for signups that are in the ICP in the #customer-success channel
Slit work within a certain team
Example:
Instant alert when users interact with the paywall and are part of cohort a
Instant alert when users interact with the paywall and are part of cohort b
How to set it up
Head to the "Events" section and search for the event for which you want to set up another alert
Click on "Edit Slack alert"
Hit the "+" button and choose a different Slack channel for the second alert
